With the iOS Zenfolio app for photographers, the ability to approve Pending Orders is included. This allows you to review and approve orders on the go using your mobile device.

While this feature is offered in the app, any changes to the pending orders such as adjusting cropping, replacing images, changing the shipping, etc can only be made using by visiting your account using a supported desktop/laptop web browser. The app can only be used to approve orders that are already complete and ready to print.
Approving Pending Orders with the App
To get started, you'll need to open the app in your iOS device (iPhone or iPad) and log in to your account.
- Click the menu icon in the top right.
- Click on Pending Orders in the menu that appears. All Pending Orders will then be displayed.
Click on a Pending Order to make it available for Review.
- Click on Products to review the photos and products in the order.
The cropping applied to the images can also be reviewed here.
Please log in using a desktop/laptop browser to edit the cropping. - Click on Shipping to review the shipping method applied to the order.
- Click Approve Order once the order is complete and ready to print.
After clicking on Approve Order...
- Check or uncheck the boxes to choose the desired actions.
- If choosing to email the client, scroll up to review and edit the email to the client.
- Click Approve Order to approve the order and send the email to the client.
Orders that Cannot be Approved
In some case, errors will be displayed when an order cannot be approved. When displayed, it means that the error requires additional editing before it can be approved.
The additional editing must be performed from the desktop view of the Dashboard. Please log in to your account using a desktop or laptop computer to review, edit and approve the order.
Some common reasons for orders that cannot be approved through the app include:
- There are missing photos in the order.
This can happen when images are deleted soon after the order is placed. - There are photos in the order that do not meet the lab's minimum resolution requirement.
This will require replacing the image with a higher resolution version. - The total price of the order exceeds the amount paid by the client for the order.
- No valid shipping method has been selected for the order.
