Once a video upload is complete, the clips will be converted to use the H.264 codec and processed into different resolutions. During this processing time you'll see a video-processing thumbnail in your gallery to represent the video clip.

We generate HDTV quality 1920x1080 as well as 1280x720 resolution. We will also produce standard definition resolution and sizes that match the original aspect ratio. We do not create resolution sizes larger than the original video file.
Note: The originally uploaded video file is not saved and stored within your Zenfolio account like uploaded image files are. It is recommended that you keep the original file stored elsewhere to backup a copy of the original file.
When processing is complete, multiple thumbnails will be generated to represent the video clip. The first thumbnail will be applied with a text overlay indicating the length of the video. You can change the Video Thumbnail at any time.
If a problem arises during processing, an error thumbnail will appear indicating the video file is still on the server, but could not be processed. If for some reason your video clip cannot be processed, please use the Contact Us form for more assistance.
