Through Zenfolio you can allow the downloading of videos. As with photo downloads, you can sell video downloads in multiple sizes.
To sell your videos you can create a Digital Product, select “Video” as the product type, and add it to a price list.
For information and instructions on creating Digital Products and Selling your videos, please click here.
The file sizes you can offer are directly linked to the largest allowed video sizes enabled in the Video Protection tab of the Access Control settings. For example, if you limit the display size to Hi Def (1280 x 720) then the only size that will be available to save will be 1280 x 720 or lower.
Please note that Zenfolio does not keep the original video file, so the videos that you allow to be downloaded are the display size(s) that have been rendered by Zenfolio which show on your gallery pages. Videos can only be downloaded as MP4's.
You can allow viewing and downloading of the following video display sizes:
- Full HD (1920 x 1080)
- Hi Def (1280 x 720)
- Medium Def (853 x 480)
- Web (640 x 360)
The originally uploaded video must have enough resolution for the given size in order to provide the download for that size. For example, uploading a 1080p video (1920 x 1080) will allow clients to download a copy of the video in all of the above sizes. But uploading a 480p video (853 x 480) will only allow for downloading a Medium size and a Web sized video.
