Search allows visitors to quickly find photographs matching specific subjects.
Since photos represent a visual image formed by digital pixels, they are not easily searchable without supplemental text information. As a result, photographers must help describe the subject of the photos by adding a Description, which includes titles, captions, keywords, and categories.
Keywords and categories are especially valuable in making searching and browsing for specific subjects easier.
See this guide for more details on how to edit the Description of images in your account.
For more information on how your photos can be displayed in third party search results such as Google and Bing, see our SEO guide.
