Website using the Zenfolio provided website domain
Great News! All Zenfolio websites that are not using a custom domain are secure and will show HTTPS in the address bar of the browser they're being viewed in.
We use secure SSL encryption for all pages so that all data transmitted to and from your site remains secure and private.
Website using Custom Domain hosted outside of Zenfolio
Even if you are using a custom domain for your website, Zenfolio will provide an SSL security certificate for your domain so that it is secure for your visitors.
In order for the security certificate to be provided for your website successfully, your custom domain will need to be set up with the appropriate A, AAAA, and CNAME records required for your domain DNS information.

The DNS settings should look something like this:

After successfully connecting your custom domain to your Zenfolio account, a security certificate will be created for your domain. This generally takes 30-60 minutes. During this time, your site may appear not secure, and some visitors may not be able to reach your website. However, once the certificate completes creation and application to your domain your site will be available to view and will show HTTPS in the address bar of the browser.
