Copy a Photograph

Copying a photo is an easy way to include it in several galleries. When you copy a photo, a new copy of the file is created and placed into the selected gallery.

Original Photos Page: Copy a Photograph

To copy photos, you'll need to access the gallery that contains the photos in the Organizer.

1. In your account, go to Photos.
2. Select the gallery from the Organizer.
3. Click on the photo thumbnail in the main area to select the photo.

1. Using the Photo Action Menu in the Main Area

1. In the Main Area, click to select the thumbnail of the photograph you would like to copy.
2. Select Photo Actions from the Section Menu in the Main Area. A drop-down menu will appear.
3. Choose Copy from a list of options. A popup window will open with a tree list of all your galleries and groups.
4. Navigate the tree and select the desired destination.
5. Click Copy to confirm and save your changes or Cancel if you change your mind.

Note: The above steps can be applied to multiple selected items as one operation.  Hold the Control key (Command key on a Mac) on your keyboard while clicking on thumbnails to highlight multiple thumbnails at once.
 

2. Using the Drop-Down Photo Menu

1. In the Main Area, click to select the photograph you would like to copy. Click on the Menu Arrow that appears.
2. In the drop down menu that appears, choose Copy. A popup window will open with a tree list of all your galleries, groups and collections.
3. Navigate the tree and select the desired destination.
4. Click Copy to confirm or Cancel if you change your mind.

Note: The above steps can be applied to one photo at a time only.

 

New Photos Page: Copy a Photograph

1. Make sure that you're in the Photos page.
2. Click on the gallery that contains the photo(s) that you want to copy.
3. Hold down the Control key on your keyboard (Command key on a Mac) and then click on each image that you want to copy.
4. Click on Actions, a menu will appear. Click on Copy in that menu. A new window will appear.

1. Select the gallery that you would like to copy the photo(s) to.
2. Click Copy to start copying the photo to the selected gallery.
