Upload settings

Images stored in your account can have a title which can be displayed on the site.  A descriptive title is a great way to help with your site's Search Engine Optimization (SEO) as it helps search engines to catalog and index the contents of your site.

If you wish to automatically title your image uploads with their file names, you can enable this via the Upload Settings.

What does your Account look like?

Click on the image that matches your view for instructions specific to your interface.

Using Original File Names for Photo Titles as the Default Setting in the Original Photos Page

1. In your account, click on Settings.
2. Choose Upload Settings from the menu on the left side of the page.
3. Check the box for Automatically copy file names to photo Titles.
4. Click Save to apply. All future photos you upload will have original file names applied as the title unless you decide to manually edit them.

Please note, you can also title images that have already been uploaded to your account with their file names.  You can also apply the file names as titles to all of the photos in one gallery at once.

To do this for all of the photos in a gallery:

1. In your account, go to Photos.
2. Choose the desired gallery under the Organizer
3. Click on All to select all of the photos in that gallery.
4. Click Photo Details. The Edit Photo Properties panel will appear.
5. Check the box for Copy from File Name
6. Click Save.

1. In your account, hover your mouse pointer over your user name
2. Click on Account 
3. Choose Upload Settings from the menu on the left side of the page.
4. Check the box for Automatically copy file names to photo Titles.
