At Zenfolio, we’re proud to offer multiple subscription plans to fit the needs of all photographers - from budding hobbyists to long term professionals who sell their photography for a profit. Finding the perfect plan is as easy as choosing the features that best fit your needs.

All of our plans include a fully-featured portfolio website and a blog, photo galleries, easy customizations, access control, SEO tools, sharing photos and galleries, slideshows with music, 2GB of RAW storage for free, and more. 

When it comes to plan payment, we offer financial flexibility that is often incredibly helpful for new businesses: our current plans are all available as either annual or monthly subscriptions. We always encourage you to look into the annual options, as they provide a significant discount when compared to the monthly options.

Just so you know, if you find that Zenfolio isn’t the perfect fit, we are happy to provide a refund if you are within 30 days of signing up for or renewing your annual plan. We may not issue a refund if you are over 30 days into your subscription or renewal. Unfortunately, we do not provide refunds for monthly plan cancellations. 

Let’s take a look at the plans we currently offer photographers through our Classic Zenfolio platform...
 

Starter

This is our most basic plan, and it simply allows you to display your images online at the lowest monthly or annual cost. It includes a customizable website with customizable galleries that you can use to display your images. In addition to the ability to customize aesthetics, the Starter plan allows you and your website visitors to order prints of your photos at base lab prices. It also allows you to store an Unlimited number of photos and videos within your account. With the Starter, you can use your own custom domain name that you’ve registered with a domain registrar.

Pro

This plan comes with all of the features of the Starter plan, but also includes the widely popular Selling feature. If you want to make money with your photography, you need at least the Pro plan. With the Pro plan, you will be able to add a markup to the products offered on your website and make a profit from those sales. In addition to selling vendor-fulfilled products, you have the ability to sell Digital Download products and Self Fulfilled products. Along with these big Selling features, the Pro plan also offers your clients the ability to create Favorites Lists of photos within their gallery on your website. It also ups the game on website customization by allowing for larger image file sizes, and the use of your own custom logo. Your marketing efforts will be a little more streamlined as you have the ability to create your own custom email templates and set up emails that are automatically sent based on specific triggering actions.

Advanced

Our Advanced plan comes with all of the features of the Starter and Pro plans, but adds advanced Selling features to the account; it is absolutely the recommended plan for School and Sports Photographers. With the Advanced plan, photographers have much more flexibility with their clients’ orders: Pending orders can be edited before they are sent to the lab for printing; and orders can be shipped directly to your studio, shipped in boutique packaging, or cancelled altogether. Advanced plan photographers usually take full advantage of using the events management feature, which streamlines the process of displaying photos for events with many participants, like marathons and school photos. The advanced plan also allows for selling pre-orders and the ability to add a preselected photo (such as a group photo) to packages - both huge benefits to those selling school and sports photography

What is my plan now?

You can see your current plan by logging in to your Zenfolio account and following these steps:

1. Hover the mouse pointer over your username in the top right corner.
2. Then click on Account from the dropdown menu that appears.
3. On the Account Information page, select Billing from the menu on the left.
4. Then choose My Subscription.

Once you’re there, you’ll see your Subscription details like subscription level and expiration date, all displayed in the main area. This is also the area of your account where you can manage Additional Services, such as soundtrack subscriptions.

Feel free to upgrade to a higher plan anytime. When you do, you will receive the remaining credit from your current plan, and only pay the subscription fee difference for the new plan extending your expiration date.

Legacy Subscription Plans

We do have a group of subscription plans that are outdated in terms of what we offer: these are called our Legacy plans, and while they are not available for new subscribers or existing subscribers wanting to switch, photographers who signed up when they were current may stay on them if they choose to do so. 

New subscribers and those switching to a different plan may only select from this list of our current Classic plans.

Please note that we reserve the right to change the renewal rate for these legacy plans at anytime. We will try our best to keep the rates as low as possible but rising costs of doing business may lead to increases in the subscription fees for grandfathered plans. We will send out notices to affected accounts before these changes occur.

Basic / ​Basic Plus

This is the most basic of all of our plans. It provides a customizable website for use in displaying the photographer's images, and there is a limit to the total amount of images that can be stored in these plans. No RAW storage is provided with this plan.
 

The Basic and Basic Plus plans are most comparable to the current Starter plan.

Unlimited

This plan comes with all of the features of the Basic Plus plan, but adds the ability to store an Unlimited number of photos and videos in your account. With this plan, you may also use your own custom domain name that you’ve registered with a domain registrar. 2GB of free RAW storage is included with this plan with monthly fees for any additional RAW file storage used.
 

The Unlimited plan is nearly identical to the current Starter plan.

Premium

This plan comes with all of the features from the Basic Plus and the Unlimited plans, but adds selling features to the account. With this plan, you will be able to add a markup to the products offered in your site and make a profit from those sales. It also allows for uploading larger file sizes and the use of your own custom logo.
 

The Premium plan is nearly identical to the current Pro plan.

Premium Business

This plan comes with all of the features from all three previous plans, but adds advanced selling features to the account. It allows you to edit orders you’ve received, have orders shipped to your studio first, add boutique packaging and even cancel pending orders. It also offers event management that will streamline the process of displaying photos for events with many participants like marathons and school photos. It also adds chat support Monday through Thursday (6am - 5pm PST).
 

The Premium Business plan is most comparable to the current Advanced plan.

The NEW Zenfolio

In 2021 Zenfolio launched an all new cloud-based platform leveraging an advanced machine-learning infrastructure with intelligent workflow automation to provide photographers with a completely new way of running their business. This new platform has been built from the ground up and offers new subscription levels: Portfolio, PortfolioPlus, and ProSuite.
