Downloading Back Original Uploaded Photos and Videos

As the owner of your images, you have the ability to download original files back to your computer at any time. You can images one at a time, or simply download all of the images in a Gallery in one action.

Please note that there’s not a way to download all of the images in every Gallery in your account in one action; rather, bulk downloads must be completed by the Gallery.

There are a few different ways to download original images from your account; and while it is noted that these steps can be used for images, they can also be used to download videos from the account.

Download an Entire Gallery

All of the images in a Gallery can be downloaded in one action through the Main Menu of your Account.

1. From the Main Menu, go to Photos.

2. Navigate to the Gallery that contains that image(s) that you would like to download.

3. Under the Details Column, click on the ⓘ icon. The Gallery's Information panel will be displayed.

4. Click Download all photos or click Download all photos & linked raw files to download all images and any files in RAW storage that are linked to the images.

 

Downloading Single Images

If you don’t want to download images in bulk, simply download one at a time using one of the following methods:

 

Using the Photo Actions Menu

1. In the Main Menu of your account, go to Photos.
2. Navigate to the Gallery that contains that image(s) that you would like to download.
3. Select the thumbnail of the image you would like to download.
4. Click on Photo Actions in the toolbar above the images. The Photo Actions drop down menu will appear.
5. From the Photo Actions Menu select Download Original File. A system popup window will open with a confirmation for downloading the file to your computer.

Note: You can download multiple photos by holding down the Control key on your keyboard (Command key on a Mac) while selecting thumbnails or using the Select All link at the bottom of the page. The photos will be downloaded to a zip file on your computer.
 

Using the Photo Menu

1. In the Main Menu of your account, go to Photos.
2. Navigate to the Gallery that contains that image(s) that you would like to download.
3. Select the thumbnail of the image you would like to download.
4. Click on the down-pointing arrow that appears. A drop down menu will appear.
5. In the drop down menu, select Download Original File. A system popup window will open with a confirmation for downloading the file to your computer.

Note: You can download multiple photos by holding down the Control key on your keyboard (Command key on a Mac) while selecting thumbnails or using the Select All link at the bottom of the page. The photos will be downloaded to a zip file on your computer.
 

Using the Details column

1. In the Main Menu of your account, go to Photos.
2. Navigate to the Gallery that contains that image(s) that you would like to download.
3. Select the thumbnail of the image you would like to download. The thumbnail will become highlighted and details for that photo will load in the Details column.
4. Click on the ⓘ icon in the Details Column to load Information about the image.
5. Click Download original photo in the Information panel that appears. A system popup window will open with a confirmation for downloading the file to your computer.

 

Zip Files

When downloading multiple images at once, the images will be bundled together into one zip file. Once downloaded, the zip file will need to be decompressed or unzipped before the images can be viewed or shared.

Website Visitors - Original File Downloads

You may also allow your website visitors to download original files to their computer, if you’d like. By default, your Groups and Galleries are set up to prohibit the download of original files, but you may always change this in Access Settings on your Photos Page. Please see this guide on how to allow your site visitors to download copies of originally uploaded images.

Download An Entire Gallery

All of the images in a Gallery can be downloaded in one action through the Main Menu of your account.

3. Click on Actions. The Actions menu will appear.
4. In the menu, click on Download Original Files.

Note: It is important to not select any individual images before going into the Actions menu. Selecting images will cause you to download only those selected images.
