What is BookMe?
BookMe is an add-on service to your Zenfolio plan; currently only available in the US. It offers hassle-free scheduling, bookings, and payments. This all-in-one booking and calendaring solution automates tasks that eat into your day and streamlines others to help you book more and get paid faster. By adding BookMe to your Zenfolio site you can:
- Take bookings 24/7
- Create customized shoot packages
- Easy pre-payments and billing
What does it cost?
It is either $10 a month or $96 a year. Our mission is to provide photographers with a fast and easy way to book jobs. BookMe will upgrade your photography business and should pay for itself in 2-3 bookings.
What currencies is BookMe available in?
Currently BookMe is available only in US dollars; however, we'll be adding additional currencies in the future!
I want to add-on BookMe, how do I get started?
We make it easy to start accepting your bookings as a Zenfolio photographer! Log into your account, and click on the BookMe icon from your Dashboard. Complete your setup within minutes and watch those bookings start rolling in! For an in-depth guide on how to get started, click HERE
Can I set my own schedule?
Yes – We believe in giving photographers the power to set their own schedules for each service and by general availability. We also sync to Google Calendar.
Can I create my own services?
Yes – We allow you to determine the service name, what is included, location, price, if/when you want to accept payments, and more.
What kind of fees are taken from the total booking?
There are no additional fees collected by Zenfolio. For information about the Stripe payment processing fee, click HERE
Who owns the copyright to the photos?
Photographers retain the full copyright to all images.
I haven't received any bookings - what can I do?
They say the best things come to those who wait, but we like to take a more proactive approach! Try adding more services, adding BookMe to more pages on your site, or updating your portfolio! You can also try increasing your availability or adjusting your service rate. Pretty soon, your calendar will start filling up!
What is the cancellation policy?
This is determined between you and your client.
Can I sync my own calendar with BookMe?
Yes – We understand how important this is! We have calendar sync for Google Calendar and hope to provide an iCal calendar-sync option in the future!
I don’t use Zenfolio as my built-in home page, how do I get this on my website?
Not to worry! BookMe can be placed on any Zenfolio page. If you use an external home page, you can simply add BookMe to your Zenfolio portfolio galleries or a custom page and direct your website visitors to view your custom page and/or gallery on your Zenfolio site.
Stripe FAQs
What is Stripe?
Stripe is a nationally acclaimed payment processor that is trusted by popular brands such as Target and Instacart. In addition to being a PCI compliant payment processor, Stripe is integrated to work seamlessly with your BookMe bookings. For more information about Stripe, click HERE
What are the Stripe credit card fees?
There is a minimal credit card processing fee of 2.9% + $0.30 per transaction for every booking made through BookMe with a credit card. Stripe does not charge for setup, nor do they have monthly or hidden fees.
How do I get paid?
Payouts are processed automatically – no manual request for payout required. Payments made on BookMe using Stripe will be delivered within 3-5 business days to your bank account or debit card associated with your Stripe account.
How do I see all of my credit card transactions and payouts?
You can see all of your transactions in your Stripe dashboard. In BookMe go to Collecting Payments in your Profile. There is a link to view your Stripe dashboard.
Do I have to use Stripe to collect payment?
Setting up a Stripe account is a requirement to activate BookMe. Want to accept manual payments instead? We have you covered. Although a connected Stripe account is required to accept a credit card payment at the time of booking, you can choose to collect payments outside of BookMe when creating a service. Once you’ve received an alternate form of payment, you can then record the payment and apply it directly to your client’s booking
