Unsupported Third Party Programs and Services

Unfortunately, not all services are supported by Zenfolio. Also not all third party programs can work with or are compatible with Zenfolio.

Here is a list of some programs and services that do not have any sort of direct integration with Zenfolio. These services cannot be used with Zenfolio directly although some can be used if data is exported out and then imported in using a supported method. This list is not comprehensive so there may be programs and services that are not compatible that may not be in this list.

  • Táve - You may be able to create an embeddable contact form using this service that can be embedded into a custom page. Please check with Táve support for more info. All other features are not supported.
  • 17Hats - the use of 17Hats is not supported through 17Hats or Zenfolio.
  • Quickbooks - it may be possible to use this program by exporting a CSV file from the Zenfolio Sales Reports and importing it into this service. Please check with Quickbooks/Intuit support for more info.
  • Quicken - it may be possible to use this program by exporting a CSV file from the Zenfolio Sales Reports and importing it into this service. Please check with Quicken support for more info.
  • Adobe Dreamweaver - All web design used in Zenfolio sites are made using built in customization tools. The use of third party web design programs is not necessary or supported.
  • Squarespace - This company is a competing service and is unrelated to Zenfolio.
  • Miller's ROES - Unfortunately it is not possible to integrate Miller's ROES with Zenfolio. However, it is possible to upload a duplicate photo using Miller's Remote Suite. Also click HERE for how to access Miller's products.
  • Eyefi - At one time, Eyefi did support the uploading photos directly to Zenfolio but they have since pulled this functionality from their product.
  • Google Adsense/Adwords - The displaying of ads in Zenfolio sites is not supported.
  • Facebook Pixel - This requires adding code to the <head> of the page which is not supported.
  • SumoMe - This requires adding code to the <head> of the page which is not supported.
  • Spotify - The use of third party music apps, their digital rights managed (DRM) media, and streaming media is not supported. Click HERE for how to use music that you own in your Zenfolio site.
  • Patreon - There is no direct integration available between Patreon and Zenfolio.
  • Moo - Unfortunately, there is no longer any partnership benefits offered through Moo.
  • Quantcast - There is no direct integration available between Quantcast and Zenfolio.
  • Light Blue - There is no direct integration available between Light Blue and Zenfolio.
  • Webroot - This company provides a software service (antivirus) that does not pertain to Zenfolio.
  • Amazon S3 - There is no Zenfolio integration with Amazon's cloud storage service.
  • Google Drive - Zenfolio does not have any direct integration with this service.
  • Stripe - There is no direct integration available between Stripe and Zenfolio. When selling Partner Vendor Fulfilled products and Digital Download products, Zenfolio will collect payment from your clients on your behalf using our own merchant service provider.
  • Square - There is no direct integration available between Square and Zenfolio. When selling Partner Vendor Fulfilled products and Digital Download products, Zenfolio will collect payment from your clients on your behalf using our own merchant service provider.
  • shopify - this is a competing service and there is no direct integration available between shopify and Zenfolio.
  • CAPTCHA - CAPTCHA requires the addition of scripts to the site. While code can be embedded into some areas like custom pages and blog posts, it is not possible to use custom CAPTCHA tools. CAPTCHA is however used on websites for a variety of purposes like guestbook entries.
  • Pigsback.com - This company has no relations with Zenfolio and does not integrate with Zenfolio in any way.
  • Cleversafe - This company has no relations with Zenfolio and does not integrate with Zenfolio in any way.
  • Phanfare - This company has no relations with Zenfolio and does not integrate with Zenfolio in any way.
  • Apple Pay - Zenfolio does not support the use of Apple Pay for collecting payment through the site.
  • Single Sign On - It is not be possible to use a login from a different service to login to the Zenfolio account. The photographer's login is stored only with Zenfolio and is not shared with other services.

Non-Integrated Print Labs

Unfortunately, not all labs are integrated as Partner Vendor labs. For these labs, their products can still be sold through the Zenfolio site by selling them as Self Fulfilled products.

Unsupported Domain and DNS services

The use of a custom domain (e.g. Joesphotos.com) is supported for photographers that subscribe to the Starter, Pro and Advanced plans. See this link for how to use a custom domain.

However, the use of these additional services offered by many domain hosts is not supported:

  • SSL Certificates - The use of an SSL Certificate purchased from a third party is not supported. Zenfolio supplies the SSL Certificate for the secure HTTPS portions of the photographer's site. This is included with all plan levels.
  • CSR Certificate - The use of your own CSR Certificate for your site is no supported. Zenfolio supplies the CSR Certificate for the secure HTTPS portions of the photographer's site. This is included with all plan levels.
  • Domain Forwarding with Masking - Forwarding a domain to a Zenfolio site with masking is not supported. This will cause issues with the secure portions of the site such as the print ordering and shopping cart pages. To correctly use a Custom Domain, it will need to be pointed to Zenfolio using DNS records.
  • Custom Nameservers - The use of a custom Zenfolio provided nameserver is not supported. To use a custom domain, the default nameservers provided by the domain host must be used.
  • DomainKeys/DKIM - This is used to verify domain name identity. Since Zenfolio is not a domain host, this cannot be provided by Zenfolio. Please contact your domain host for more information on DomainKeys/DKIM.
